SPY×FAMILY Code: White Anime Movie Hitting Theaters in 2024!
Awesome news for fellow SPY×FAMILY fans – a feature-length anime film is on the way! Titled SPY×FAMILY Code: White, this sure-to-be-epic movie is set to hit theaters in 2024.
Code: White will be an original story crafted by manga creator Tatsuya Endo himself, so you know it’s going to be good. He came up with the plot focusing on master spy Twilight’s mission going haywire when his chaotic telepath daughter Anya crashes the party. No shocker there! Endo is also spearheading the whole production as supervisor.
The studios behind the anime series, WIT Studio, and CloverWorks, are returning to animate the film. So we can expect some truly top-notch visuals to bring Code: White to life. Kazuaki Shimada is also back as character designer, with director Takashi Katagiri and writer Ichiro Okouchi joining the crew.
Sony Pictures and Crunchyroll snagged the worldwide rights for this flick. They’re planning a massive 2024 rollout across North and Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand, plus parts of Europe. An English dub is in the works too for those who prefer it.
Code: White actually opens in Japan this December before coming overseas next year. Some stellar Japanese voice actors are onboard like Tomoya Nakamura and Shunsuke Takeuchi playing new characters.
While the SPY×FAMILY anime continues dishing out new episodes weekly, this movie gives us another exciting story to anticipate. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see Anya’s psychic antics back on the big screen! This dysfunctional spy family always delivers the laughs, action and feels. 2024 can’t come soon enough!
